มัลดีฟ
มัลดีฟเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวแห่งหนึ่งในความฝันของบรรดานักท่องเที่ยวที่ชื่นชอบทะเล ว่าจะต้องไปเยือนที่แห่งนี้สักครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต
มั ลดีฟตั้งอยู่บนทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ของประเทศศรีลังกา ประกอบด้วยแนวเกาะ รูปวง แหวนที่เกิดจากหินปะการัง (ATOOL) ทั้งสิ้น 26 เกาะ ซึ่งประกอบ ด้วยเกาะเล็กๆ ถึง 1,192 เกาะ มีอยู่เพียง 200 เกาะเท่านั้นที่มีประชากรอาศัยอยู่
คำว่า มั ลดีฟมีความหมายอย่างเช่น เกาะแห่งขุนเขา, หนึ่งพันเกาะ, เกาะแห่ง พวงมาลัย ดอกไม้, เกาะแห่งสตรี
มัลดีฟเป็นประเทศที่เล็กที่สุดในทวีปเอเชีย และเป็นประเทศที่นับถือศาสนาอิสลาม ที่เล็ก ที่สุดในโลก มีเมืองหลวงชื่อ มาเล (MALE) ซึ่งตั้งอยู่บนเกาะค่อนข้างใหญ่ ส่วน สนามบิน นานาชาติไม่ได้อยู่ในมาเล แต่อยู่บนเกาะอีกเกาะหนึ่ง ซึ่งสร้างเป็น สนามบิน โดยเฉพาะ ใช้ ้เวลานั่งเรือจากสนามบินไปมาเลเพียง 5 นาที
รายได้หลักของ มัลดีฟ มาจากการท่องเที่ยว และการประมง เกาะเล็กๆหลายเกาะ ในมัลดีฟ จะสร้างเป็นที่พักแบบรีสอร์ท เกาะหนึ่งจะมีแค่หนึ่งรีสอร์ทเท่านั้น การประมง ในมัลดีฟจะ ไม่อนุญาต ให้ใช้แหหรืออวนจะอนุญาตใช้เบ็ดเพื่อตกปลาเท่านั้น เพื่อป้องกัน ไม่ ให้จับปลา ที่มีขนาดเล็กเกินไป และเป็นการรักษาพันธ์ปลาไว้
คนไทยที่ไปเที่ยวมัลดีฟส่วนมากจะไปพักที่เกาะคานิ (KANI) ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของ คลับเมด (CLUB MED) มักจะจัดรายการเที่ยวแบบ 3 วัน 2 คืน ส่วนเกาะอื่นๆ ที่คน ไทย ไปก็มีเช่น เกาะบาดอส (BADOS) , เกาะ พาราไดซ์ ( PARADISE ), เกาะดอนวาลี (DHON VELI) ซึ่งนับว่าน้อยมากแทบจะไม่มีเลย
กิจกรรมหลักๆที่อยู่บนเกาะในรีสอร์ต ก็คงหนีไม่พ้นกีฬาทางน้ำ เช่น ดำน้ำตื้นดู ปะการัง SNOKLING ) , นั่งเรือตกปลา, ไปเที่ยวเกาะอื่นๆที่อยู่ใกล้ๆ, หรือดำน้ำ ดูปลา และปะการั ง ที่อยู่ใต้น้ำ กิจกรรมประเภทนี้ถ้าใครเข้าร่วม จะต้องไปลง ชื่อที่กระดาน ของรีสอร์ทก่อน หาก ไม่ครบจำนวนขั้นต่ำตามที่เขากำหนดไว้ เช่น 10 คน, 15 คน, ก็จะ ยกเลิกทริปนั้นไป บางทีก็ต้องทำใจเผื่อเอาไว้สักหน่อยที่อาจจะไม่ได้ไป แต่ถ้าดำน้ำตื้น ดูปะการัง มักจะไม่ผิด หวัง เพราะมีคนสนใจไปทุกวันอยู่แล้ว
บ้านบังกะโลที่พัก จะมีให้เลือก 2 แบบ คือ แบบอยู่บนเกาะ และแบบอยู่ในน้ำ (WATER VILLA) ถ้าเลือกแบบบ้านพักที่ตั้งอยู่ในน้ำ ต้องทำใจหน่อย เพราะสนน ราคา แล้วสำหรับ คนไทยก็ถือว่าแพงมาก แต่ถึงอยู่บ้านบังกะโลในน้ำก็เป็นแบบน้ำตื้นๆ หรืออย่างมากก็ลึกไม่ ่เกินเอว
ปลาที่มัลดีฟ ต้องบอกจริงๆว่าสวยงามมาก มีสีสันที่ยิ่งกว่าภาพถ่ายเสียอีก แค่เล่นน้ำทะเล ตื้นๆก็จะเห็นปลาสารพัดสี ส่วนปะการังทั่วๆไป ยังถือว่าธรรมดามาก ไม่มีสีสัน สู้บ้านเราก็ไม่ ่ได้ นอกจากบางแห่งของมัลดีฟที่เท่านั้นจะถือว่าสวยจริงๆ
พวกที่ชอบดำน้ำดูปะการัง ไม่ต้องลงเรือเพื่อไปไกล แค่กระโดดลงทะเล หลังรีสอร์ท ก็ เห็นสารพัดพันธุ์ปลา และปะการังแล้วธรรมชาติของมัลดีฟนั้นจัดได้ว่าสวยงามมาก แต่ถ้าคิด จะไปเที่ยวเมืองหลวงมาเล (MALE) อาจจะผิดหวังงสักหน่อย ถ้าหาก ตั้งความหวังมาก เกินไป เพราะไม่มีจุดเด่นอะไรเป็นพิเศษ มี สุเหร่าโบราณ, ที่พัก ประธานาธิบดี, ทำเนียบ ประธานาธิบดี, ตลาดขายของ และ ถนนกับรถ ถ้าเทียบกับ ราคาค่าทัวร ์ และค่าเรือนับว่าไม่ ่คุ้มค่าเท่าไร แต่ถ้าหากจะไปให้เห็นสักครั้ง เพื่อเป็น ประสบการณ์ก็แล้วไป อย่างน้อยก็ยังได้ ้ชือว่ามาถึงเมืองหลวงของมัลดีฟแล้ว
ถ้าหากจะติดต่อเป็นการเป็นงานอะไรกับชาวมัลดีฟ ก็เห็นทีจะต้องบอกว่าต้องทำใจ เพราะ เมื่อคุณเธอรับเรื่องไปแล้ว จ่ายเงินไปแล้ว คุณเธอก็พร้อมที่จะ เปลี่ยนแปลง กำหนดกา และ แผนต่างๆได้ตลอดเวลาเหมือนกัน อย่างนี้คงต้องยืมคำพูดที่ว่า ทำอะไร ตามใจมัลดีฟแท้ๆ ซินะ ทางที่ดีเมื่อติดต่ออะไรกับใครไว้ต้องถามชื่อ และเบอร์โทรศัพท์ ์มือถือเอาไว้ หากมีอะไร เกิดขึ้นจะได้ตามหาคนรับผิดชอบได้
นักวิชาการประมาณว่า มัลดีฟ อาจจะถูกลบออกจากแผนที่ ี่โลกภายในเวลา ไม่กี่สิบ ปีนี้ อย่างมากคงไม่เกิน 100 ปี เพราะเกาะต่างๆนั้นเกิดจากปะการัง และจะค่อยๆ จมลงทะเลไป ทุกๆปี ในช่วงสตวรรษที่แล้ว จมน้ำทะเลไปแล้วถึง 20 เซ็นติเมตร ฉะนั้นถ้าอยากไปเที่ยว คงต้อง หาโอกาสไปเสียก่อนที่จะไม่มีโอกาส

Republic of Muldives
Muldives is one of the dream places for tourists who are sea maniac, and wish to visit here at least one in their life time.
Muldives is located off the south-west of Sri Lanka . It is an archipelago of many ring-shaped islands formed of coral (atoll). They are in all 26 large islands, and 1,192 small islands, but only 200 islands have people living on them.
Muldives can mean a mountainous island, thousand island, a flower garland island, or a womanly island.
Muldives is the smallest country in Asia continent and the smallest islamic country in the world. The capital is MALE which is located in a fairly large island. The international airport is not located on MALE, but it is located on another island where the airport was specially built. It takes only 5 minutes from the airport to MALE by boat.
Muldives main income is from tourism and fishery. Resorts have been built on many small islands. Each island only has one resort. For fishing in Muldives, people are not allowed to use a mesh or a trawl, But only bait, in order to protect small fish and to preserve fish species.
For Thai people who travel to Muldives, most go to KANI island where CLUB MED is located. The usual organised travel package is 3 days and 2 nights stay. Other islands where Thai people like to visit are BADOS island, or PARADISE island. DHON VELI is an island where Thai people rarely visit.
The main activities on the islands are water sports such as coral snorkeling, boat fishing, visiting other islands near by, or diving to see fishes and coral. People who wish to join such activities, must sign their names at the resort's notice board first. If the number of people does not reach a minimum number which the organizer assigns, for example 10 persons or 15 persons etc., then such trip will be cancelled. Sometimes, people need to make up their mind if such trips was turned away, If people do any coral snorkeling, then they will not be disappointed because every day people interested to join such activity.
The villa accommodation has 2 types; inland villas and water villas. If you choose a water villa, then you must consider its high price for Thai people. The water villas are located in shallow water or at a sea level that is not deeper than adult waist height.
The fishes in the Muldives are very beautiful, and more colourful than their pictures. At the shallow sea level, you can see many colourful fish. The coral, in general, is very plain. It is not colourful like the coral in Thailand , except only in some places.
People, who adore coral diving, do not need to get on a boat. Just jump into the sea behind the resorts, and you see various species of fishes and coral.
The nature of the Muldives is very stunning, but if you wish to visit its capital MALE, you may be disappointed, if you have a high expectation for it, because there is nothing special to see. There are traditional mosques, the President's residence, president's office, market places, and roads with cars. If you compare its sight value with the tour prices and boat fees, then it is not worth enough to pay off. In case, if you just see them for your experience at the first time, then it is worth to see, because you are already at the capital of Muldives.
If you do business with people in the Muldives, then you must be aware, because when they receive any job from you, and if you have already paid them the money, then they can change any schedule and plan at any time.
For their characteristics, so you can borrow the words to say that Maldives inhabitants do everything according to their own thinking. The good way, when you do any business with them, is to ask for their name and mobile phone number. If something goes wrong, you can find someone responsible.
Experts estimate that the Muldives may be removed from the world's map within decades, at the maximum period not more than 100 years, because its islands are coral formed, and every year they slightly sink into the sea. In the previous decade, they have already sunk 20 centimetres into the sea. Therefore, if you wish to visit them, you should go now before there is nothing left.
